I am feeling rather blue today ! Life is always throwing curves
I took mom to dr appointment today ! The doctor said she has some kind of cancer on/in her throat maybe thyroid dr arrange a pet scan and biopsy next thirsday to figure out what kind and if it has already spread etc its going to be rough for us i feel! I hope it has not spread but not having the best of feelings ! Mom is in pain and i know her mental state isnt to great Cancer is always a word we dont want to hear especially when its your family! The C virus made her afraid to go sooner and her being hard headed ! I can only take one day at a time and we will have to process this as we go!
UP dated Jun18 2020 mom had her pet scan today as well as biopsy of the lump on the left side of her neck it took 2 1/2 hours, which i took a nap in my car as i hate getting up early and mom and i are night owls ! Mom has some bruising and pain but ice and qnd the pain meds the doctor gave her ! So far she is doing ok but still thinking it isnt cancer ! Bless her heart cancer is the worse word any one wants to hear! Next week thursday will know what is happening.
July 3rd we now know it is a fast growing cancer now she had a bone biopsy to see if it is in her bone and a Muga scan of her heart to see if her heart is strong enough for Chemo But she doesnt want chemo she doesnt want to be sick from the so called cure!
July 14 MOM hear is strong the Muga scan and results on bone marrow is neg for cancer cells Mom dr told her he chances and how it will be with out treat ment MOM decided to try it after hearing what he said! We go get the pic line friday!
