Converting VHS Tapes to Digital

If you've read my recent posts, I recently met a friend from here and had some mutual fun. One of the best parts of the experience was the surprise that I had seeing my new friend showing me (proudly) his mom getting fucked stupid by his father and several of his father's friends. He also has video of his mom working like a true cocksucking pro at a gloryhole with a location that isn't far from my home. These videos were hot and I suppose that I was a little bit excited by the screwed up idea that my former friend from here (we're not friends anymore for other reasons - read my other posts to find out why), likes to watch his mom get stuffed by pretty much anyone. His mom is a BBW who is borderline SSBBW and there are videos of her starting when she was chubby all the way up to her current form. One of the issues my former friend had was finding a way to convert the videos from VHS to digital. There's a way to do this where you don't have to involve a 3rd party (so the videos always stay in your possession). I'm posting this "easy" way to do it (there are MANY other ways) but this is how I converted by old video tape collection to DVD so that I could still watch it. None of my videos are self-made but some of my amateur stuff I've actually uploaded to the site here within the past couple of years. I've removed any sections with copyright warnings or any water marks on the video. The rest of the stuff I have - like the entire Dreamgirls Real Adventures Series 1 through like 34 or something. I now have these digitally and on DVD when they were entirely on VHS previously.
Here is how I did it for a fair price using items I purchased at a yard sale.
Here is how you can convert your collection in a way that doesn't require you to set-up a tripod and re-record the video to a camcorder that records digitally. There's a way to avoid losing the photo quality. Here is what I did. Again, there are many ways to do things, but here is how I did things for about a $50 investment in equipment and software.
1. Go to yard sales, flea markets or look on Craig's List or Facebook Marketplace for VHS to DVD burners. These units were sold from about 1995 to 2010. They still make these and you can buy them new, but there's no point unless you plan on converting movies other than your porn movies or if you have a ridiculously huge collection of VHS tapes. I had about a total of 20 tapes to convert so I bought the VHS to DVD burner for $25 (negotiated down from $40). Make sure it works and buy the right type of DVD disk (either RW, +R or -R). Rip your VHS tapes to DVD format using the unit, it should do so automatically and then burn to the DVD in DVD format.
2. Take your newly burned DVD and insert it into your older computer that still has a DVD drive.
At this point, you can convert things one or more ways.
The easiest and cheapest way to convert things is to allow this site to do it for you. You can upload almost any video format to this website and it will convert the file to mp4 as an output. So simply uploading your 1-2 hour personal porn tape (or much shorter) is as easy as copying the DVD to your hard drive and then uploading it to this site. Depending on the length of the video, it may take a while.
Another option is to purchase file conversion software (around $20 online) to convert the file from your new DVD format to the a digital format. Personally, I've used this site to convert a couple of movies for myself.
