What is true Love in Inter-Religious Relationships
Anyone who compromises their native identity, either willingly or by force, for the sake of marriage or a relationship by accepting their partner's beliefs or surname, is not experiencing true love. It is a one-sided agreement where their identity is overshadowed or erased, while their partner retains theirs without converting.
Anything that encourages you to abandon your native identity and culture cannot be justified unless it is entirely based on your personal beliefs and studies, not for fulfilling materialistic desires.
Conversion to another belief system should be a personal, sincere decision made out of genuine faith, not a requirement for marriage, relationships, or material gain.
One-sided religious conversion for marriage is discriminatory and reflects intolerance and disrespect toward your native culture. It shows that your partner values their religion over you, as they demand you to leave your beliefs while they refuse to do the same. Such a mentality cannot support a mutual, tolerant marriage.
