I'm pretty sure all of these ads eventually take you through to a £30 per month (just to read & respond to messages) dating website where the site admin controls half the "user" accounts and sends out luring messages to new members to encourage them to pay

I agree with smartsmoker, if you use chrome when you're on xham, download adblock or adblock plus, they're both free ad blockers, i use adblock plus myself and i don't see ads here anymore.
