Dear xhamster maintainers,
I think it is timely to write a message to tell you how I, as probably one of the "power users" of xhamster.com, feel about the way the site is performing recently. In general I am still quite satisfied with the way you are providing porn as a service: both as a consumer as well-as a provider. However, I'd like to raise some issues, that have recently affected my general good assessment of xhamster. Most of the issues are technical, however, this is not a complain of technical outages in a strict way.
First of all, I think the functionality of the mobile site is limited and this is clearly affecting the acceptance of (mostly young) users. Having myself some IT/Web affinity I clearly understand the effort/costs involved with such a development, but, hey guys: are you aware that a lot of the youngsters enjoy themselves somewhere else (i.e.: tumblr/snapchat/kik)? Well, this is probably non of my business...
A minor issue is a rather specific one: I like the fact that I can see how many times a picture or video has been watched. If I would have had a commercial background this would not even be entertaining but a crucial selling aspect. Recently I have observed that completely arbitrary "view-counts" are shown for galleries which are obviously not the sum of all views received for the individual pix inside them. The view-count can even "jump around": right now it might be 185.000 views and a minute later after refreshing it might be 12.000, yet another minute later it has again another value. Please have a look: this should somehow be solvable, isn't it?
One, nowadays well-known problem at xhamster.com is clearly the overload related to video uploads. I can personally live with some days where xhamster is refusing video uploads due to traffic and video conversion jams. However, there is yet another aspect that is probably pointing into the same direction related to the chats/news exchange: It is somehow strange but there are days when there are lively activities, while on other days practically nothing is posted/said/exchanged. I know this is somewhat unspecific, but it seems that this is also related to the above mentioned load problems.
Last but not least, I have encountered (using firefox) frequent problems with the page layout where background pictures where shown instead of the canvas.
I don't write this to annoy anyone or to complain unspecific- I rather try to help you improving your services.
