Spam Comments.. Argggghhhh

Who is patrolling the visitors and their comments? Is it fair to the users that enjoy the content and freedom of expression? Why do we have to put up with visitors leaving messages with out having accounts?

My opinion is you can only leave a message with a real account, and the message gets deleted when the account is deleted? Is there a lot of spammers checking in or what? Lets stop them in their tracks and keep this site FUN!
