I hate when you do this...

When you upload a bunch of nice galleries, that I end up Favorting, and then sometime afterwards (days, weeks, months), make your content Friends Only or WORSE, Password required.

AAAARGH!

WHY DO YOU DO THAT?!

Did you upload some pics and later have regrets about showing yourself to everybody? You realize that once your pics are on the Internet, they are almost out of your hands for sure. Why did you wait some time before making your content "exclusive"? Are you trying to force people to befriend you later, or you just had no foresight?

I would much rather your content was Friends Only/Passworded from the initial upload, than to change it later and expect me to jump through your hoops to see it again after I've already seen it.

至 solarjetboy : Its fine if you want to make your content private, but just do so when you first upload it. Why change it to private later?

至 Sometimesnotalways : I feel mostly the same way, though if you are posting content that is niche and considered odd, strange, unusual or just straight up gross and you want to avoid negative comments from passerby's, then that makes sense. I can understand if somebody (like myself) that would make content that isn't that great OR I'm not confident in (like if I ever posted nudes that I didn't think that were that great) then at least if I put behind a friend wall or password, then you're more likely to leave a positive comment if you jumped through those hoops.

My problem is when people change it from public to private long after people have already seen it and added it to favorites. Just make it private from the get go!

I agree... most of the time when I see someone that looks like they have an interesting profile and then all of there content is either password protected or friends only, I usally pass by. Whatever it is can't be that much better than whats already available and I'm not going to beg to see it. (or at least thats how it makes me feel) I find post in my favorites that has chanced to friends only or password protected, I just delete it from my favs
