I am so grateful............

My house burned two days ago....
I find myself sitting here tonight reflecting on things.... I am so grateful that I got to keep the two most important things possible.
My life and my dog. Everything else can be replaced.

I have also had an outpouring of love from friends and family.... most people never get to know that they have touched so many other lives in a positive enough way that they are willing to give back when you need it so much.

If you have the chance to express your feelings to a friend.... grab it. Live life to the fullest.... and lastly... always look for the silver lining when things are bleak.

thanks for all your kind words.... my dog and I are living in a motel for now... we will rebuild...

it's nice to know what's important when it hits the fan...what seems like disaster sometimes is a great gift and the suffering opens the heart. Sorry about the home and glad your doggy is saved.
