I was on vacation in Hawaii, Maui to be exact, for the fifth time in seven years. I like to explore new places and was told about a cute little city called Makawao so that's where I went. It was an unusually hot and humid summer with no trade winds so the elevation felt good, nice and cool. As soon as I got out of my rental car I fell in love with this cute little town. Little shops with different types of art all by local artists, and restaurants and a coffee place. After I had lunch at the Mexican restaurant I went through every shop.
