So , I have met a few nice people on here who I correspond with . I appreciate you all and I mean that. I want to encourage you to be good to yourselves. As part of being good, you acknowledge that you are complete without needing validation from other people. You don't have to sell yourself short!!!!! Recently I found myself in a similar situation. Now I'm a pretty level headed guy, but I really valued the friendship. However I realized that I was putting more effort into building the friendship than the other person was.
