My information comes from a New York Times article and the CNN website. Both pieces were published in early December. There is a strong "anti-porn" law hidden in the stimulus bill passed by the U.S. Congress. The Feds are really cracking down on (mainly) "exploitation of .... people whose birth year begins with the digit 2" and also on "copyright violations". Something similar is happening in Europe. Hamster got caught by surprise because they have not done a good job policing this site. Like you, I think they owe us a detailed explanation of all that is happening so we can decide where to go from here. I am very frustrated and disappointed at the moment, but I think I will be patient for a while and see how it all shakes out. At the very least I want them to tell all their users how to upload photos and give us a firm date when it will happen. They can't seem to figure anything out, and I am embarrassed for them. They look like fools and idiots.

Re: Deletions Welcome to the club. Everybody has a horror story. In the past month I have lost over 1800 Favorites. It is bad for business to aggravate your clientele like this. The comments have been very angry lately. My guess is that Hamster is in some sort of major trouble and is scrambling to find a way out before they get shut down.
